Hey, I'm Tammy Eichholz Akard (aka Sweet T.E.A.). I have always loved making movies, and this love of the camera led me to pursue a career in TV news. While working as a sports reporter/anchor, I had the opportunity to cover events such as NFL games, SEC sports, and NASCAR. My favorite part of being a reporter was telling the story, and as a wedding filmmaker, that's still my favorite part. I am a hopeless romantic, so I love weddings! After experiencing the whirlwind of my own wedding, I realized how much I didn't personally get to see of the very day I had spent so much time planning. Considering my experience with video production and editing, my love for weddings, and my desire to help other brides preserve all the special details of their big day, it seemed only natural for me to fall into filming weddings—and this quickly became a passion for me. I am the primary filmmaker and editor, and my husband, Keith, joins me at weddings as a secondary shooter. We are tremendously blessed with four beautiful children, and when I'm not filming or editing, I love to hang out with my family—and drink sweet tea!
